Size & Fit Guide

The best starting point is your measurement, not the number on your last pair.

01 — Measure both feet.

Place a sheet of paper on a firm, flat floor beside a wall. Stand naturally with your heel lightly touching the wall. Mark the end of your longest toe and measure the distance from the wall to the mark. Repeat for the other foot and use the larger measurement.

02 — Check the product’s size chart.

Compare your foot length with the chart on the specific product page. Check whether the measurements refer to foot length, insole length or another measure. Size conversions and fit can differ between styles and suppliers; there is no single universal Loamstep size chart.

03 — Consider width and intended wear.

Look at the toe shape and any width information as well as length. Think about the socks you plan to wear. Do not assume sizing up will fix a shoe that is too narrow.

04 — Check the fit indoors.

When trying shoes on, check that your toes are not pressed against the front or sides, that the heel feels secure and that the fastening is comfortable. Follow the applicable return conditions before wearing them outside.

Choosing for children.

Measure both feet again before ordering. Review the particular style’s chart and fastening, and allow for any room recommended by that product’s sizing information.
